Born to a hippy mother, Shelsea Ochoa did not receive her birth certificate, or a social security number, until she was almost five years old. As a reckless youth, she jumped many fences and broke bottles by train tracks. In her twenties, she joined many cults such as the rainbow gathering, burning man, and up with people. These days, she spends her time in a large building that does it's best to freeze time through the art of taxidermy. She enjoys hanging out with clowns and  gathering people for dialog on the Human Experience through Soul Stories (www.soulstoriesdenver.com

I met Shelsea at Voodoo Comedy, the improv theater where Circo de Nada produces its improv shows. She’s a world traveler, particularly across Latin America, and another profound humanitarian. In tiny, individual ways, she does tremendous good in the world, through both art and the basic human activity of giving and sharing. Her work is Empathy, in all its transmittable forms. She’s starting to play with Circo in our more Red-Nose style shows, and it’s a joy to collaborate with her! — Nick
