Going deeper: the fundamentals of stillness, silence, tension, status, and your own ridiculousness!
These are the fundamentals! Stillness, silence, tension, status, and the articulation of your ridiculous human Self. We’ll play with simple gags, inter-Clown relationships, loops, and destroying that pesky Fourth Wall.
This 2-month version of the Fundamentals course will ultimately focus on conceiving, developing and performing a theater/cabaret/street or circus routine, possibly two, but the focus is on process, not product.
Simple red noses will be provided, and more custom noses will be available for purchase. Experience with improvisation will be extremely useful, but is not a prerequisite. The foundations are always worth revisiting! Repeat students will also be given more advanced assignments.

Important Information
ATTENDANCE AT THE FIRST CLASS OF EVERY MONTH IS MANDATORY! This is non-negotiable. Missing the first class would put you so far behind in the material that you will not receive the full benefits of the course.
This payment is non-refundable, unless class is canceled by Nick Trotter. Credit towards future classes or other products will be given if student cannot complete the month. Refunds and discounts are not given for classes missed after the first of the month.
Student will be required to show proof of Covid vaccinations, and to sign a liability waiver in case of personal injury. These are also non-negotiable.
Bring a water bottle, but do not bring food or beverages other than water.
Do not consume alcohol or drugs before class. The work is physical can can be emotionally intense. You will be removed from class if you are apparently impaired.
